The second part of humanitarian aid sent by Azerbaijan delivered to Ukraine

The second part of the humanitarian aid, consisting from the main electrical appliances, sent by Azerbaijan in response to the appeal from Ukraine in order to restore the uninterrupted supply of electricity to the affected territories, delivered to Ukraine.

AZERTAC informs that humanitarian aid includes from 45 power transformers and 50 generators in total. The first part of the aid arrived in Ukraine on December 17. The total amount of humanitarian assistance given by the Azerbaijan Republic of Ukraine is close to 30 million manats.

Commenting on this, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko said: “I want to express special thanks to my colleague, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, for the quick response and support. We thank you for your solidarity with the Ukrainian people.”

 It should be noted that the 6 months various organisations structures of Azerbaijan provided humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people. About 90 Ukrainian children suffered during the war and lost their relatives, were delivered to our country for the medical and social-psychological rehabilitation. School No. 12 named after Zarifi Alieva, demolished during the military operations near the city of Irpin, fully restored, various acts of humanitarian aid undertaken.
