100th Birth Anniversary of the prominent Azerbaijani academician Zarifa Aliyeva marked in Ukraine
Event dedicated to the 100th Birth Anniversary of the outstanding scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva held in the city of Irpin. The event was attended by the diplomats of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine, the mayor and deputies of the city of Irpin, the management of the company "SOCAR Energy Ukraine", members of the Azerbaijani diaspora, the management and staff of the "Linguist" lyceum named after Zarifa Aliyeva, as well as representatives of the local public and mass media.
The participants visited the park named after Zarifa Aliyeva, honored her bright memory in front of the monument to the academician, visited the "Linguist" lyceum, which bears her name.
The head of the city of Irpin and the staff of the lyceum reiterated deep gratitude to the State of Azerbaijan for the quick and thorough reconstruction, which seriously suffered at the beginning of the war.
