Ukrainian MPs to monitor parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

An Ukrainian parliamentary delegation from the Verkhovna Rada will observe the upcoming snap parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1 in Azerbaijan, said Valeriy Kolyukh, the co-chair of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group.

“The Ukrainian observation mission includes 10 MPs from the Verkhovna Rada. The program of the observation mission is currently under preparation. The observation mission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will visit Azerbaijan in late August, and will prepare a report on the results of election,” he added.
