Information regarding the phone conversation between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga on September 10, 2024.

During the telephone conversation, the current agenda of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, as well as issues of regional and international security, were discussed.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov sincerely congratulated his colleague on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and wished him success in his work.

It was stated that the source of satisfaction is mutual respect and support between the two countries, as well as cooperation based on the norms and principles of international law.

Minister Andriy Sybiga thanked for the greetings and expressed hope for further strengthening of the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

Humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan in connection with the security situation around Ukraine, especially support in the restoration and reconstruction of the infrastructure of the city of Irpin, as well as demining activities were gratefully mentioned.

The sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest during the phone conversation.
