Olena Kondratyuk: We highly appreciate Azerbaijan's efforts to rehabilitate Ukrainian children
We highly appreciate Azerbaijan’s efforts to rehabilitate Ukrainian children who suffered from the war. This year, with the assistance of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, three groups of Ukrainian children had a hospitable vacation in Azerbaijan. Over the course of this program, more than 180 Ukrainian children were involved and provided with socio-psychological rehabilitation services.
As reported by AZERTAJ, this was stated by Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratyuk during a meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliev.
During the meeting, the current state of interstate relations, the establishment of close cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada and the Milli Mejlis were discussed.
The importance of the unchanging position of both countries on preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty within the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine and Azerbaijan was noted.
“We are grateful to Azerbaijan for the humanitarian assistance provided to Ukraine, especially for support in the energy sector and the restoration of educational institutions. We hope that in 2025 the program of recreation and rehabilitation of children of the Ukrainian war in Azerbaijan will be continued,” added Olena Kondratyuk.
