Ukrainian newspaper published an article about Fikret Amirov

Ukrainian newspaper "Den" published the article "In the year of the 100th anniversary of Fikret Amirov in Ukraine, mughams sounded." The article contains information about the life and work of the outstanding Azerbaijani composer, as well as about the memorial concert of Fikret Amirov, which took place in Dnipro.

The author of the article is Maryna Honcharuk, initiator and organisor of Ukrainian-Turkic projects in the field of culture. The article emphasizes the the first concert for the 100th anniversary of Fikret Amirov held in Dnipro on February 12, 2022 with initiative and help of the International Organization of Turkish Culture (TURKSOY) and its general secretary Dusen Kaseinov (2008-2022). After that, concerts began in Kazakhstan, Turkey, France and other countries.

It should be noted that on February 12, the music of Fikret Amirov was performed for the people of Dnipro at the Dnipropetrovsk Leonid Kogan Philharmonic, performed by the Dnipropetrovsk Academic Symphony Orchestra with the participation of the honored artist of Azerbaijan, soloist Ilham Nazarov, under the direction of the honored artist of Azerbaijan, professor, world-famous conductor Yalchin Adigozelov.
