A concert dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev held in Poltava.

A concert dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the National Leader of the People of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, held at the Poltava Regional Philharmonicş Event organized by the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv and supported by the Poltava Regional State Administration.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev, Counsellor of the Embassy Sabir Rzayev and First Secretary Namig Niftullayev, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv Afgan Salmanov, officials of the regional and city administrations, representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora and the local community took part in the event.

Delivering speech, Seymur Mardaliyev emphasized that Ukraine and Azerbaijan always mutually support each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and an important part of the history of the development of cooperation between the two countries is connected with the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. Honorary Consul Afgan Salmanov spoke about the importance of the achievements of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, in restoration of independence of the country and state building. The leadership of the region and the city, who also made speeches at the concert, highly appreciated the strong friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, the humanitarian aid that Azerbaijan provides to Ukraine. Congratulations to the state and people of Azerbaijan on the restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty expressed as well.

Azerbaijani artists, ensembles of the Poltava Regional Philharmonic, and a children's choir performed for the guests.
