Azerbaijan represented with its stand at the international charity festival in Kyiv
The official opening ceremony of the international charity festival "Let's unite hearts for Ukraine!", organized by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, took place in Kyiv.
Along with more than 30 countries, Azerbaijan was also represented with its stand at the international festival with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine. Kyiv residents, guests and diplomatic representatives of foreign countries were offered pakhlava, shekerbura, wine, tea etc. Besides, national attributes made by the famous master of decorative and applied arts Rena Safarova, who lives in Ukraine, as well as musical instruments were displayed.
The "Caucasus" dance group with the support of the United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine performed national dances, including Sary Gelin, Uzundere, Kochari.
The Director General of the OUTLOOK project, Darya Karyakina, told AZERTAJ that the Azerbaijani stand aroused great interest in her. "I got acquainted with the stand. It is very nice to see various types of Azerbaijani products. Today, at the charity festival, people get acquainted with products from different countries. Azerbaijan also demonstrates its national culture and cuisine. The demonstration of a model of a pomegranate, which is a symbol of Azerbaijan, makes a great impression on the festival participants," D.Karyakina added.
Commercial Director of the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theater, Honored Culture Figure of Ukraine Oksana Kohut noted that cultural ties between the two countries are at a high level: "Cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Ukraine have been developing for a long time. Azerbaijan successfully participates in many festivals in Ukraine, and we have very positive relations. We love Azerbaijan. I have been to Baku, Ganja, Sheki. These cities have a wonderful cultural heritage. Today Azerbaijan is represented at the international festival with a wonderful stand. I like your tea and pomegranate wine.”
