Another humanitarian aid of electrical equipments sent from Azerbaijan to Ukraine

On February 7, 2025, another humanitarian aid has been sent from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine. The aid consisting of the electrical equipments was sent from the territory of the Sumgait Technology Park.

As is known, funds in the equivalent of one million US dollars were allocated for this purpose in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated February 5, 2025.

The initial humanitarian aid sent within the framework of these funds includes electrical cables, wires and transformers. According to the application received from Ukraine, the mentioned supplies are intended for the restoration of stable electricity supply to the war-affected areas.

It should be noted that the total amount of reconstruction and humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine in connection with the current situation exceeded 40 million US dollars. About 120 transformers and complex transformer stations, about 70 generators, as well as more than 3.3 million meters of cables and wires were sent to Ukraine before 2025.
